BigXthaPlug, known for southern hip-hop, trap, and country-rap, gained fame with viral singles like 'Texas' and 'Mmhmm.' He recently posted on Instagram about releasing new music and was scheduled to perform at the Country Rising festival on Friday. The arrest occurred almost a year after Landum, also known as BigXthaPlug, was initially detained in August 2025 on similar charges. During that incident, Dallas police pulled over a pickup truck lacking its front license plate. Landum revealed he had a gun and showed officers where it was located.
