Series Order and Creative Team
Amazon MGM Studios has given a series order to 'Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone', a darkly comedic murder mystery based on the book by Benjamin Stevenson. Penn Badgley, known for 'You', will star as Ern Cunningham. David Hemingson, Oscar-nominated for 'The Holdovers', is attached as showrunner and executive producer.[S1][S2][S3]

The plot centers on Ern Cunningham, an expert in writing mysteries, who reluctantly goes to a family gathering in Vermont to welcome his brother Michael after his release from prison—the same brother Ern had helped put away.
