BBC Confirms Return
The BBC has officially confirmed that Top Gear will return to television, four years after the show was put on hold following a crash that injured co-host Andrew Flintoff. The announcement was made by Ed Havard, the BBC's director of entertainment, during a panel at the Edinburgh TV Festival on Thursday.
