Blaze Erupts at Popular Grill
On Sunday afternoon, a fire broke out at the Siga la Vaca restaurant, a well-known all-you-can-eat grill located on Avenida Alicia Moreau de Justo in Buenos Aires' Puerto Madero neighborhood. The fire originated in the grill area, producing a dense column of smoke that rose from the chimney and was visible from various points in the area. The fire started in the extractor hood of the establishment, likely due to a buildup of grease, and spread to the terrace area. Flames reached up to two meters high and were located just four meters from the restaurant's entrance. The fire was contained to the rooftop area and did not reach the main dining room. Two Men Treated for Smoke Inhalation
During the incident, two adult men were attended by medical personnel from SAME, the Buenos Aires emergency medical service. The men had attempted to extinguish the fire on their own before firefighters arrived and suffered smoke inhalation.
