Start time, duration and the official site
The 2026 edition of Cyber Monday in Argentina opens at midnight on Monday 2 November and closes on Wednesday 4 November. The Cámara Argentina de Comercio Electrónico (CACE) organises the event, which gathers roughly 15,000 MegaOfertas from close to 800 companies across the country. All the offers are concentrated on the event's official website, where shoppers can search for products, weigh alternatives and move straight to retailers' stores to complete a purchase.[S1][S2]
Organisers have scheduled fixed windows to concentrate traffic during the three days. Between 12:00 and 13:00, the so-called MegaOfertas Bomba will be switched on across different categories. From 20:00 to 22:00, the Noche Bomba will offer a selected set of promotions. The event ends with the Megaboom, a final burst of deals on Wednesday 4 November from 22:00 until 23:59, presented as a chance to clear remaining stock.[S1][S2]
Categories, SMEs and expected discounts
The roughly 15,000 offers are spread over 10 areas: electronics and technology; travel; babies and children; health and beauty; sport and fitness; clothing and footwear; furniture, home and decoration; supermarkets; wine cellars and gastronomy; and motorcycles, cars, services and miscellaneous. Almost half of the participating companies, 47%, are small and medium-sized enterprises, a share the organisers present as widening the range of goods beyond the big traditional chains.[S1][S2]
Discounts this year are expected to fall between 30% and 50%, depending on the category. The 2025 edition recorded an average reduction of 31%, the highest since 2021, and half of all purchases came with free shipping. That year, total turnover reached 639,000 million pesos, 29% more than in 2024, with 12.1 million units sold and close to 7 million purchase orders placed by more than 8 million visitors to the official site.[S1][S2]
Foreign platforms, AI and the first half of 2026
This edition takes place in a tougher competitive landscape. Growth in purchases on international platforms, particularly Shein and Temu, which are strong in clothing and household goods, is pushing local brands to sharpen their offers. Shoppers, meanwhile, increasingly use artificial intelligence tools to compare prices and check past price histories before deciding, which raises the bar for domestic retailers.[S1][S2]
A study by the consultancy Kantar for CACE found that Argentine e-commerce billing rose 28% in the first half of 2026, reaching 19,533,815 million pesos. In that period, 181.5 million purchase orders were completed, 21% more than in the first six months of 2025, and 248 million items were sold. The average ticket per order stood at 107,597 pesos. Kantar also found that 18% of those surveyed said they had made their first international online purchase during 2026, while 64% buy abroad only occasionally.[S1]
