Main Event Finds New Home on Rumble
WWE's weekly series Main Event is set to leave YouTube and move to the video platform Rumble, according to an exclusive report by Variety. The show had been airing on YouTube since the start of 2026. Starting Oct. 14, it will stream on Rumble every Wednesday at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT. Viewers can watch at Rumble.com/WWE and through connected mobile and TV apps as part of Rumble Sport's programming lineup.[S1]
Main Event showcases WWE performers from the Raw, SmackDown and NXT brands. Over its run, it has featured stars such as CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. The program originally launched on Ion Television in 2012 and has since appeared on platforms including Hulu, WWE Network and Peacock before its move to YouTube.[S1]
WWE and Rumble Executives on the Partnership
Alex Varga, an executive vice president at WWE, framed reaching digital-first viewers as a central priority for the company, adding that Rumble has created an easy-to-access venue devoted to high-quality sports and entertainment content. Rumble chief content officer Claudio Ramolo called WWE Main Event an important building block within Rumble's growing sports slate. Ramolo also noted that WWE programming has spent decades among the most-viewed content on TV, major streaming services and social platforms, an unusual blend that appeals to audiences and sponsors, and said the deal shows Rumble's continued push to offer top-tier sports and entertainment.[S1]
Rumble's Evolution and Audience
Rumble launched in 2013. Its popularity grew sharply in 2020, when it drew figures such as Nick Fuentes and Steven Crowder, who said other platforms were censoring them. More recently, the company has expanded into artificial intelligence and infrastructure as well.[S1]
