Arrival and first day in Buenos Aires
The Vatican released the schedule on Monday for Pope Leo XIV's stay in Argentina, which runs from Sunday, November 8, to Wednesday, November 11, when he leaves for Peru to close his Latin American tour. He arrives in Buenos Aires from Uruguay. Tuesday centers on Cordoba. The pope leaves Buenos Aires at 07:30 and lands at the Ingeniero Aeronautico Ambrosio Taravella international airport at 09:00. At 15:15 he meets bishops, priests, deacons, religious men and women, seminarians and pastoral workers at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption. The farewell ceremony takes place at 13:30 at the Ministro Pistarini international airport, and at 14:00 he departs by plane for Lima, Peru, to continue the apostolic journey.
