Apple TV has ordered an eighth season of its hit spy drama Slow Horses, following the show's latest Emmy win. Production on the new season is set to begin shortly. The season will draw from Clown Town, the ninth installment in Mick Herron's Slough House book series. The renewal comes as Season 6 of the series is scheduled to premiere on September 16, and a seventh season, based on Herron's Bad Actors, has already been announced.[S1]
