The vacant jackpots roll over into the next draw, pushing the Quini 6 pool to 10.1 billion pesos and drawing more players to a game whose proceeds support the Santa Fe social assistance fund.

How the game works and how to play

The Quini 6 is a variable-prize game whose pool is calculated based on total ticket sales. Players must select six numbers from a range of 00 to 45. The game has four variants: the traditional draw, the second draw of the Quini, La Revancha and Siempre Sale. In the first two variants, the first prize goes to tickets whose six chosen numbers match all the numbers drawn. The second prize is for five correct matches and the third for four. If no ticket wins, the pool is left vacant and increases for the following draw.[S1]

To play, participants choose six numbers at random between 00 and 45 and then select the variant they want to bet on: traditional, second, revancha, siempre sale and the extra prize. The current cost of the Quini 6 is 100 pesos for the first two variants, plus 50 pesos for each additional one, bringing the total to 250 pesos. Players can place their bets until 19:00 for Wednesday draws and until 20:30 for Sunday draws.[S1]
