Spectral Legionnaires Enter the Killzone

Wreathed in a corona of witchfire, the Legion of the Damned descends to exact blazing vengeance upon alien brutes. Every ghostly Legionnaire bears skeletal markings and is cloaked in unearthly flame. Even the most dogged Inquisitors cannot pin down what they truly are, and while their interventions have reversed the fortunes of innumerable wars, almost nobody knows who or what they serve. This haunting, otherworldly quality makes the kill team function unlike any other Space Marines, since they have to anchor themselves to reality gradually before hitting peak strength. At the start they advance and battle more sluggishly than ordinary Space Marines, yet with each passing turning point their bodies grow more solid, until they become horrifying phantom horrors overflowing with eldritch fire.[S1]

Ork Nobz and the Armageddon Battlefield

Facing them is a squad of brutal Boss Nobz, the finest of the Orks' elite fighters. These hardened veterans have endured conflicts across many worlds and stand head and shoulders above weaker Orks, clad in heavy armour plating and wielding an assortment of eccentric Ork weaponry. Certain ones are fixated on dakka and carry paired kustom shootas, whereas others revel in fiery carnage and lug a massive skorcha into the killzone. The Kill Team: Armageddon boxed set is where they will first become available. A brand-new terrain collection supplies the battlefield for this fiery confrontation, with ruined vehicles and collapsing structures depicting the destruction visited upon Armageddon.[S1]

Terrain, Rules, and What's Inside the Box

The Killzone: Armageddon scenery is made to match the look of the existing Battlezone Fronteris kits, though it appears more battered by war. Included are two solid bunkers, which come with their own rules for the frantic close-quarters fighting that erupts when an unfortunate operative must assault one. Ruins and scatter pieces round things out, among them a wrecked Redemptor Dreadnought and Rogal Dorn Battle Tank. Finally, you receive the usual datacard sets to help you remember key rules, plus the Kill Team: Armageddon Dossier, holding every rule both kill teams need along with lore covering the Legion of the Damned, the Ork Nobz, and the grim circumstances that brought these foes together.[S1]
