Jessica Andrade, a former UFC strawweight champion, has been sidelined with a shoulder injury since her August 2025 loss to Loopy Godinez. To supplement her income, the 34-year-old Brazilian has taken up work as a delivery driver, picking up orders through an app and delivering meals. Andrade has faced financial difficulties before. In 2018, she sold her UFC gear to make ends meet. In 2023, she fought five times to cover divorce costs. UFC Fighter Pay Debate
Andrade's situation highlights ongoing concerns about UFC fighter pay. The promotion gives about 20% of revenue to fighters, while boxers receive around 60%.
