Justice Department attorneys argued in a court filing that if President Trump's name does not appear on the Kennedy Center, donor money for renovations would dry up, and the cultural center might be 'required to be taken down.' A court blocked the initial effort to add 'Donald J. Trump' to the building's exterior in May, following a lawsuit by Democratic Representative Joyce Beatty. The Trump-aligned trustees then voted again to add 'Renovated and Restored By President Donald J.
