Three raids ordered by a guarantee court
Buenos Aires provincial police searched three properties in General Rodríguez as part of an investigation into alleged aggravated threats with firearms. The proceedings were ordered by Guarantee Court No. 1 of the Moreno-General Rodríguez judicial department and were carried out at two properties inside the Terravista country club and at a private address. The case involves singer Elián Valenzuela, known as L-Gante, and people in his family circle. The file is being handled by Functional Instruction Unit No. 10, led by prosecutor Toscano. The prosecution is now waiting for the results of the judicial measures before deciding on the next procedural steps regarding the accused. How the complaint began
The investigation started with a complaint from a woman who rented a home on 25 de Octubre street. According to her account, the first episode involved a man nicknamed El Oso, identified in the complaint as the musician's uncle, who demanded that she leave the property and argued that it belonged to Valenzuela. Days later, according to the complaint, the singer himself went to the site accompanied by several people and the group allegedly forced its way into the property. Police sources told Agencia Noticias Argentinas that the complainant said the occupants were intimidated with firearms during that episode and were again told to leave the land. The woman said the group used weapons to threaten those present and repeated the demand that they abandon the terrain.[S1][S2][S3]
Field work and security cameras
After the judicial complaint was filed, investigators from the Departmental Investigations Delegation carried out field work and analyzed security camera footage. According to police, that work made it possible to reconstruct the routes of the vehicles that would have been used during the events and to identify various addresses related to the people under investigation. With that information, the court authorized three search warrants to move on the properties tied to the case.[S1][S2][S3]
The searches took place at properties inside the Terravista country club and at another home in the General Rodríguez district. The case remains at the instruction stage. It is not the first time L-Gante has been involved in a judicial proceeding: in 2023 he was held for three months at the Quilmes DDI in an investigation into illegal deprivation of liberty and threats against two residents of General Rodríguez.
