The Carolina Hurricanes lifted the Stanley Cup only a few months ago, and supporters will soon be able to revisit the defining moments on television. The NHL said in a press release that the Hurricanes' Stanley Cup Championship Film will make its debut exclusively on ESPN2 on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. ET.[S1]

The production will spotlight the figures who drove Carolina's championship. Among those featured are Jordan Staal, the 2026 Conn Smythe winner, head coach Rod Brind'Amour, and other Hurricanes players including Sebastian Aho, Brandon Bussi, Taylor Hall, Jordan Martinook and Jaccob Slavin.[S1]
Rather than tracing the entire playoff path, the film concentrates on the drama of the Final. Carolina faced a Vegas Golden Knights core built around veteran leadership and had to solve a heavy, physical style of play, ultimately taking the series in six games.[S1]
