Pitt's Fixer Takes Shape in First Trailer
Netflix has unveiled the first full trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, a sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. In the new footage, Brad Pitt's character, a former stuntman, has reinvented himself as a Hollywood fixer while also tending bar and working as a projectionist. The trailer also features a lighthearted jab at Pitt's Once Upon a Time co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, with Booth explaining that he no longer doubles for DiCaprio's character Rick Dalton because Rick got too fat.[S1]

This project brings together two major filmmakers: Quentin Tarantino penned the screenplay, while David Fincher stepped in to direct. The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth will first play exclusively in Imax cinemas worldwide for two weeks beginning Nov. 25, before becoming available on Netflix on Dec. 23.[S1]

Plot Details: From Fairy Tale to Crime Story
An official description sets the story in 1977, eight years after Cliff Booth encountered the Manson family in Tarantino's alternate-history 1969 film Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. In the sequel, Los Angeles no longer needs a hippie-slaying stuntman, but Hollywood still has problems that only someone with Cliff's unique, occasionally extralegal abilities can solve. When not bartending or working as a projectionist, Booth works as a fixer for Hollywood's great and not-so-good.[S1]
Booth's interest is piqued when talent agent Karen Crosby, portrayed by Elizabeth Debicki, reaches out about her client, TV sensation Charlie Peters, played by Scott Caan, who is famous for performing his own stunts. He also becomes drawn to others in Charlie's orbit, such as Charlie's perceptive wife Toni, played by Carla Gugino, and former football star turned actor Roderick 'Hot Rod' Harrison, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The Verdusco brothers, played by Matt Groove and JB Tadena, are enigmatic criminals spreading chaos throughout the city.
