A letter for the end of primary school
Jimena Barón turned to social media on Friday afternoon to address her son Morrison, known as Momo, who is nearly 13 years old and about to close his primary school years. In a long, intimate letter, the singer reviewed the road they had traveled together, a text that took on particular weight given the circumstances surrounding the family. She opened by celebrating the moment and listing the milestones of the period: the seventh-grade dance, the graduation trip, the family party and the paper-throwing ceremony still to come.[S1][S2]
Barón described the boy she now sees before her, calling him tall, muscular, intelligent, quick, funny, empathetic and sharp, and adding that she finds him handsome, scented with the trendy Arab fragrances that are never enough for him. She admitted that a selfish part of her heart suffers watching him take off, riding the bus alone and losing interest in things they once enjoyed together, and she confessed that she notices the dimples vanishing from his hands. The singer recalled nearly 13 years spent side by side, laughing and doing everything together, and stressed that love was enough to raise Momo even when she had little idea how to do it at the start. She wrote that they did a great job, that they were quite alone in the beginning, and that she is filled with pride watching him fly with confidence. The photographs published alongside the text told their own story. In the first, Momo poses alone on a soccer field holding a cup as if it were a champion's trophy, wearing an orange Boca Juniors shirt. The second shows him with Matías Palleiro, Barón's current partner, who hugs him with a baby in his arms and a broad smile, an image that speaks of the blended family around the teenager. In the third, mother and son are photographed together on the pitch, with Barón holding her son's orange jersey like a banner. Osvaldo's hospitalization and his career
Daniel Osvaldo, 40, was taken to the Hospital de Llavallol during the night of Thursday by his sister, who found him at his home in a very delicate state, according to what sources close to the former player confirmed. He was admitted as an emergency because of a serious infection that required a biopsy and the cleaning of the infectious focus, and he has since remained isolated in the hospital's intensive care unit, located in Llavallol in the Buenos Aires suburbs, with a reserved prognosis. The panelist Pepe Ochoa said on the program LAM that the former footballer is in intensive care at a hospital in Llavallol and has no private health coverage, and reported that he presents a right pleural effusion, an accumulation of fluid in the space around the lung.[S1][S3]
Days before entering the hospital, the former striker was active in his artistic side and had a concert scheduled for October 31 at Café Berlín with his band. Born in the Huracán youth system in 2005 and holding Argentine and Italian citizenship, Osvaldo built a high-level career in Europe and Argentina. He moved to Italy and played for Atalanta, Lecce, Fiorentina and Bologna before establishing himself at Espanyol in Barcelona with 20 goals in 44 matches. In 2011 Roma signed him for around 15 million euros, and there he played 56 games and scored 27 goals, the most prolific stage of his career.[S1]
He later wore the shirts of Southampton, Juventus and Inter Milan, winning the 2013-14 Serie A with Juventus. Back in Argentina, he was crowned champion of the local tournament in 2015 and of the Copa Argentina with Boca Juniors, before closing his career at Porto and Banfield in 2020.
