A Quiet Ceremony in Los Angeles

According to a TMZ report published Wednesday, Jim Carrey has tied the knot with his longtime partner Min Ah, exchanging vows in an intimate Los Angeles ceremony. The nuptials came seven months after the pair stepped out publicly for the first time at February's César Awards in Paris, where the 64-year-old actor received an honorary prize. Min Ah was seated with his daughter Jane and grandson Jackson. Carrey's first wife, Melissa Womer, is Jane's mother.[S1]

Speaking in French while accepting his award, Carrey gave thanks to his family and then turned his attention to Min Ah. He expressed love for his daughter Jane and grandson Jackson, saying it would last always, and called Min Ah his sublime companion, telling her he loved her. The two have mostly shielded their romance from public view. People reported that they were first pictured together in February 2022, after a Judd Apatow charity comedy show at Largo in Los Angeles.[S1]

Carrey's Third Marriage

For Carrey, this is a third trip down the aisle. The star of The Truman Show wed Melissa Womer, once an actress and a waitress at the Comedy Store, back in 1987; their divorce came in 1995, and they share Jane, now 38. In 1996 he married Lauren Holly, his Dumb and Dumber co-star, but that union ended in 1997 after under a year. He was subsequently romantically linked to Ginger Gonzaga, his Kidding co-star; they walked their first red carpet together at the Showtime Golden Globes Nominees Celebration in January 2019 and parted ways that same year.[S1]
