A six-episode season, screened two at a time
Viewers of Heated Rivalry will get a chance to watch the show's first season on cinema screens next month. Between Nov. 6 and Nov. 30, all six episodes of Season 1 will be shown in a limited theatrical engagement at more than 275 Regal Cinema sites around the United States, mounted alongside Sphere Abacus and Crave. Regal leads distribution, and the episodes will also appear on big screens at AMC, Cinemark and other participating venues, bringing the total past 650 locations. Screenings pair two episodes together and cost $9.99; advance tickets are already on sale through Regal.[S1][S2][S3][S4][S5][S6][S7][S8]
The screenings come with extras beyond the episodes themselves. Audiences will see welcome material made exclusively by members of the cast and the show's directors, and theaters taking part will sell themed cocktails, among them the Summer in Montreal and Russians Don't Blush. The event is positioned as a communal way to revisit a season that has already been watched repeatedly at home, and as a celebration of the series, its creators and its performers ahead of the second season.[S1]
Regal and Sphere frame it as a shared event
Brooks LeBoeuf, senior vice president of U.S. content at Regal, described the theatrical run as a response to how strongly the series has connected with its audience, saying the aim is to give fans a reason to experience it together on a big screen. He noted that almost a year has passed since the premiere and framed the engagement as a chance to honor the story, its makers and its cast before Season 2 launches in 2027.[S1]
