Partnership to Boost Literacy
Country music icon Dolly Parton, who recently passed away, had been actively involved in combating Utah's literacy challenges. Her Imagination Library program joined forces with Operation Literacy, a Utah-based nonprofit, to distribute free books to children across the state.[S1]

The two organizations jointly introduced the Raising Utah Readers campaign, urging state legislators to set aside funds so that children across Utah could receive books and complimentary literacy tools.
