Bryan Konietzko, one of the two creators behind Avatar along with Michael Dante DiMartino, is set to run the show. Its official description centers on a defiant teenage Avatar who rejects centuries of custom, instead traveling the world to master the four elements while outrunning his furious mentor, unruly pirates, and unpredictable spirits, all the while aiding others in his own unconventional manner. Paramount+ additionally shared early preview images from the upcoming series.[S1]
Seven Havens Renewed for Two More Seasons
At that same panel, Konietzko and DiMartino announced that Avatar: Seven Havens had earned a two-season pickup, which will be known as Books 3 and 4. The series centers on the most recent Avatar in the franchise's timeline. Janet Varney, the voice of Korra in The Legend of Korra, handled moderating duties. Word of Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos being in development initially surfaced via Knight Edge Media.[S1][S4][S5][S7]
